Oats Abroad is run by a married couple who left the daily grind to see the world for 7 months. Alan is originally from South Africa and Flo grew up in Germany. Now based in Sydney, Australia the corporate world has us back but we still get out and about whenever we can.
We visited 20+ countries in 200 days, across 6 continents. You can read about our travel tips, packing lists and our reports from the road. We love putting together mini guides to our favourite destinations and always tell you what and where to eat.
Oats Abroad simply refers to the fact that we love eating oats, and this blog is about us being abroad. In hindsight, we could have called the blog “everything but the kitchen sink abroad”, but Oats Abroad does seem a bit more catchy.
